Last time that a coach went from Van Buren to Hopewell-Loudon was Brian Colatruglio. Can Nutter repeat that success?

It worked once, maybe it'll work again. Nutter knows the MAL that is in his favor. What is not in his favor is that it appears the talent level at H-L may not be what it has been the last few years but we'll see.

Is this a surprise they didn't stay in house? Don't know anything about this coach, can anyone give some insight?

I just read a few newspaper articles on this Nutter guy and the papers tell me nothing about his past(other than his failing record). Did nutter play college ball, how many years as a coordinator did he have before gettting a HC job? Looks like he was a small town player, that is now a small town coach and fell into some good positions/opportunities. I do not know the guy at all and have never heard of him before, but there have been some very questionable hires as head coaches in the state this year. If our economy were not so bad, I would have to believe alot of small town programs could of done alot better in hiring better head coaches. But I wish him the best of luck and hope he can be successful.
