"I spoil a lot of people with my play," James said in one of the few borderline candid comments he made in his postgame interview. "When you have a bad game here or there, you've had three bad games in a seven-year career, then it's easy to point that out. So you got to be better.

"I put a lot of pressure on myself to be out there and be the best player on the court, and when I'm not I feel bad for myself because I'm not going out there and doing the things I can do. But I don't hang my head low or make any excuses about anything that may be going on, because that's not the type of player or person I am."
I can't put my finger on exactly what, but does any of that seem kind of odd to anyone else considering they were just blown out in a pivotal game in the series? Not exactly the kind of reaction I would expect out of a superstar in that situation.

No, because it tells me he does care and it bothers him if he doesn't live up to the billing for the said game.

I dunno, I trust LeBron, but for some reason when other players come to Cleveland, the wilt away in the postseason.

The only thing keeping the most talented player ever (LeBron) from being the best player ever is an attitude adjustment. I am afraid we may never see it.

Not as long as Mike Brown is the coach. Brown lets Lebron skate by. Someone needs to give Lebron some shit and straighten him out.

I honestly thought he fielded the questions pretty well. Reporters constantly try to bait him into saying something worthwhile and he NEVER gives it to them.

Same Lebron attitude he's had since HS. It's all about him and if things go wrong it's not his problem. I really thought Lebron had grown up, but then he goes and makes this stupid statement and he's right back to being a spoiled-ass 18 year old brat again. Wonder if he'll bring out the r/c Hummer to play around on the court before the game again......

God, just another example of people taking things out of context.

He's a professional athlete. Not just an athlete, a professional. He understands that they have another game to play and that game 5 is over. Time to let it go and worry about game 6.

LeBron doesn't give a fuck. His bags have been packed. He will get it though. Just not here. He will start winning titles as early as next year in Chicago. It must happen this way so that Cleveland fans can watch their season end by January and then get to watch LeBron holding up trophies in June every year.

Quotes like that are the reason I will never care for him as a person whatsoever. "I spoil the fans", "Had 3 bad games in 7 years" just shows how cocky and arrogant he is for someone who has never won anything. Never would have seen Jordan, Bird, or any big star say crap like this. He is getting torn apart in the media for that little quote and rightfully so.

LOL MJ said far worse than anything LeBron has ever said on consistent basis.

He was never as scrutinized in the media the way LeBron is because by the time the internet came around and the media blew up he was already looked at as the GOAT and had multiple rings.
