Mods, can you delete this thread and let a Cavs fan start it? I don't think we've won a game when 2quik starts it up.

Oh, ok..

Well anyway, Cleveland has to emulate the 2009 Olando Magic who were in this same exact situation, down 3-2 to Boston.

Orlando won Game 7 in Boston, Cleveland has a Game 7 @ home.. Just win Game 6 and let it go for Game 7.

The difference though is Boston didn't have Kevin Garnett last year. They overachieved in the playoffs without him.

That's irrelevant to me.

Garnett basically said after the game that they can't come back to Cleveland, even used the word impossible. So the Cavs are going to have to play their best ball of the year because the C's will be on their game.

it shouldn't be irrelevant

two totally different teams, last year without Garnett and this year with him

you never know how the officiating will be, that's another thing to consider

refs gave the Celtics all the calls in the first half when the Cavs were stuck on 29 points and made sure it stayed close and then the Celtics heated up

Cavs had a chance to build a bigger lead and may have that chance in the next game and maybe LeBron gets the calls and gets to the line more often

No, because the Cavs have beaten the Celtics with Garnett, so it's irrelevant to me.

I found his choice of words tonight very odd considering...

Me too, just hearing that made me think that there is no way we can lose a game 7 if we force it.

not in the playoffs

you keep looking at last year's Celtics as a frame of reference

you said before the series the Celtics wouldn't be tougher than the Bulls because the Bulls and Celtics went seven games LAST YEAR...when Garnett didn't play

What?

I never said the Celtics wouldn't be tougher than the Bulls, and if I did, I was drunk.

I knew this series would be a fight. I thought the Cavs would win in 6, but I'm wrong.. Obviously.

I have a feeling both these teams will be playing to be Orlando's bitch next round.
