Me and some of my friends a couple of years back got one of the old school rubber kickballs ( the ones they used in dodgeball and 4 square before everyone turned into giant pussies and that ball became to hard.) and played a huge game of kickball at first we were not to sure about but turned out to be alot of fun.

As many fielders as can play.

The batter hits the ball, if its a fly and is caught, the fielder who catches it is the new batter. If it hits the ground or is a grounder, the batter lays the bat down on the ground and the fielder throws/rolls the ball from where they got it. If they hit the bat they are the new batter.

Foul tips count, and the first fielder to the ball gets to try to hit the bat from that close.

Only extra rule is if the ball bounces up from the bat and the batter catches it in the air before it hits the ground, he can remain the batter.

The idea of the game was to hit line drives/high flies as it was much more fun then watching the fielders fight over the fly balls.

Wiffle ball or kick ball. We have the perfect back yard for them.
