Cavs need to shoot better than the 2% they shot in game 4.

Rondo is the best player on the floor right now. Not a knock on Lebron, more of a knock on the Cleveland defenders that are making him look like Bob Cousy.

They need to collapse on him. Rondo is making it look too easy.

Cavs know if they lose this one, they will head back to Boston down 3-2. They should come out ready to play Tuesday.

What else can the Cavs do to slow him down? Mo not getting it done and neither is Parker. Lebron may be the best defender but wouldn't that drain his energy having to stick Rondo a whole game?

Nothing. Parker, Delonte, and Mo have to force him to jumpshots. When he is in the lane....he is lethal. Shaq needs to plant his ass and the Cavs guards need to play defense.

You can't have Lebron on him or Pierce will go nuts more than likely. It is the only matchup that heavily favors the Celts, but they are taking full advantage.

No one defender will slow down Rondo, but playing decent help side D would help.

I'm not sure you want to commit LeBron to guarding Rondo in the open court. First, you will sap some of the energy LeBron needs to be a major offensive force and you may well be playing with fire in that what if Lebron picks up a couple of early fouls trying to stop him from taking it to the rim? The Cavs must simply play better team defense. They were late rotating to the ball most of the game and Rondo was killing them with his penetration. When Rondo pulls up and hits those outside jumpers, the ball game is over.

Pierce has been playing like shit, Im would take my chances. They haven't done shit without Rondo leading the way.

Pierce has been bad, but I still don't think you take Lebron off of him. Those other guys need to check their fuckin heart and play smart against Rondo.

Also, Lebron isn't quick enough to keep him in front of him....although he couldn't do any worse.

Mo needs to get the fuck off the court. Simple as that.

I love Mo and have defended him countless times, but it's obvious he doesn't have the testicular fortitude in the playoffs.

At least Boobie has proven to be a great playoff scorer. Their defense is a wash.

Not to start a war here but wtf was Lebron doing at the end? Kenny Smith made a point a couple weeks ago on a major difference between Kobe and LeBron. Kobe senses "the moment" better and knows when it's his time to step up and make a big play. He welcomes that pressure and lives with the result, success or failure.

LeBron still doesn't have that sense of "the moment." He was nowhere to be seen down the stretch of this game. When they were behind he stopped shooting and being aggressive.

I had a post on the in-game thread that read "Good job Boston, you're about to lose this game" because the Cavs came storming back.. I FULLY expected LeBron to take over and win this game.

I get what you guys are saying. That had been a knock on mine the past few years with LBJ not being the best player.. he didn't have the killer instinct. It comes and goes, but he was silent down the stretch of this game.

The play that pissed me off by LeBron was when he was driving down the lane and kicked it to Andy, who promptly shot (and bricked) a 17 foot jumper on the baseline.. Seriously, WTF?

Overall, I'm not worried, because again the Cavs came out lethargic... That is something I'm concerned about though.

With that said, Boobie NEEDS to get some fucking minutes. This guy was a hero in the playoffs as a ROOKIE... Mo has yet to do anything remotely close to that.

Boobie is a MUCH better 3 point shooter, and his defense is better as well (though neither can be labeled as a defensive stopper)

Today was frustrating but I'm still confient.

Mo is a big concern though, I dont know what we are gonna do with him. He cant play defense and he cant put the ball in the bucket. I really think its to the point where you put Bron on Rondo. Everything runs through him, if he doesnt have a solid game I dont think they can win.

If the Cavs go with their bench PG, do you think that changes LBJ's thinking at all for FA? It would for me knowing we couldn't trust are starting PG when it mattered most. But that is why I think Mo continues to play. You gotta believe in him.

I'm saying this as a Cavs fan. LeBron (and the Cavs) don't have a killer instinct yet. When people compare him to the all-time greats, that is one of the things that is missing.
