Expected. I did hear that Russell had showed up to camp looking very good, both physically and throwing the football. However, us Raiders fans have heard that shit the last 3 years and and he's always back to his same old shit when the regular season comes around.

He'll probably be given another chance somewhere, but he is definitely going to have to change his attitude. Weighing 3-Bills is not the ideal weight for a QB

Dont know how much of a chance he will get. I dont see any team telling him he can legitmantly compete for the starting position anywhere....

Maybe if he had some good seasons he would...but he has been a trainwreck. I imagine he will get chances to be a backup but that s t.

Agreed, Buffalo maybe....? That is QB hell right now. Other than that I don't see a team calling, maybe Kansas City?

I think Russell is a bust, but with that being said I think I would take Russell as a backup QB on my team before I took a guy like Colt Brennan (who is actually a backup with the Redskins). Russell actually has game experience and has the physical ability to be good, so I could see a QB-"whispering" head coach take a gamble. Wonder if Mike Martz would come calling?

Now he can go to the Arena League and throw the length of the field on his knees for a TD.

Please Cleveland sign him so I can hear how good he can be and what a good pick up this is.

Oh but he's tall and has a strong arm. According to some on this site, that's all you need to be a great NFL quarterback.
