Red_Skin since you can't dispute the rankings this thread changes to a Heisman winner count ?
I change it again to
Heisman Trophy winners for the past 50 years

SEC = 9
Big10 = 7

Scout, ESPN, and Rivals only put together the facts to determine rankings, but don't let the facts get in your way to change the topic, LOL.

Heisman Trophies:
Ohio State- 7
Michigan- 3
----------------
total: 10 (for you SEC fans)

Entire SEC: 9
Could also explain why OSU has 1 National Championship in the past 40+ years. Michigan 1 in last 50+ years?

Ohio State and Michigan(and really the entire Big Ten) cares more about academics than winning football games. Couple that with playing in one of the toughest conference in history, you can understand why it would be difficult to claim a boatload of National Championships. This isn't the SEC where you can lose 2-3 games and still be COCKSLOBBERED by the entire media.

Does one player make a team? I would rather have 22 good players and win titles instead of 1 good player. SEC has better players, coaches and 5 titles out of the last 7 compared to ZERO for the Big 10. We have seen what Heisman winners accomplish in bowl season........hardly nothing.

Here are the 6 major conferences for 2010 recruiting class

ESPN150 signees by conference
Big East---- 3
Big 10-------14
ACC---------17
Big12--------28
Pac10--------28
SEC----------57
---UF with 17 ESPN150 signees had more ESPN 150 signees than Big East, Big10, ACC had.

I didn't know that 17 was more than 17. That's some pretty good math your have there ;).

You don't think that the ESPN 150 might be a little biased?
