Ask yourself one question: do you become over-the-top, bizarrely happy whenever your team wins a game just because the simple act of them winning is a pleasant surprise?

If so, then you truly do know what it is like to be a Pirates fan like me.
The way the last couple of seasons has gone the answer to that question is yes.
Oh. Jebus. My condolences.

Here's how bad it is, I wanted to go to a game where I thought the Indians had a chance to win. I looked at the schedule and saw that there were only a couple series where I thought they would have a great chance to win. Two of the series were against the Pirates. I think the other was the Reds.

Bruce keeps talking about Branyan looking like a ballerina, Grady striking out at a record pace, and Peralta not being able to hit if he had the flagpole in center field.

Unbelievable?

How can you say that, everyone knew they would blow but I was willing to give them a chance. Nothing that they have done this season has surprised me.

I got in the car during the top of the ninth. Felt pretty good about the lead. Thought the Tribe had one in the bag. When will I stop torturing myself like that?

One more game like today and I officially will stop caring. And it is only early May.

Druby and now Valbuena have made game costing errors.
This is what happens when you have young inexperienced players.

I would think after being swept by the Tigers this weekend, that may result in some call ups/send downs. Branyon/Valbuena/Laporta=bye bye.

The guys down on the farm are not that good and they are not ready.

I suppose not, but the guys on the mlb roster sure the hell aren't either. 10+ strikeouts 5/6 consecutive games is not acceptable. With the exception of Choooooo, they all blow!

The 2nd baseman down there looks a lot more ready than Vilbuena.

I don't know what happened to Valbuena...he's had enough experience to be better. Maybe that is what happens when you rush a kid up to the bigs. I don't know enough about player development to definitively state when a player is 'ready'.

I dont think that I have ever hated a Cleveland athlete as much as I hate Peraltas fat ass. Why the hell cant we find a way to get rid of that guy? Its to the point where I change the channel when hes up. I cant stand to look at him.

Nothing happened to him. He was just never good.

It's the exact same problems I pointed out last year. He'll make the fantastic play but screw up the easy one, he's a below average hitter, and he's HORRIBLE in clutch situations.

They continue to play/rush Valbuena because we traded Gooooot for him. Franklin has been nothing short of tremendous (power is lacking though) for the Mariners. They are determined to make that trade look like a "win" for us.

At least thats my theory....:D

Bruce is going to have a heart attack sometime during one of his shows. I don't want that to happen at all but he needs to chill out sometimes.
