just got back from the sneak preview.

Pretty good movie overall, Robert Downey Jr. is just as witty as he was in the first, the action is well done, Scarlett looks awesome.

only thing i will say is that if you do not know much about the avengers movie (or what they are) then you will be lost for about 20 min of the movie.

great summer movie, very entertaining.

stay through all of the credits (like in the first iron man).

Just checked it out. I liked it. Downey was the man as usual and I thought Mickey Rourke did a good job. Oh and Scarlett Johansson is hot as shit but I guess that's not anything new lol.

Robert Downey Jr. may be the best actor in Holleywood right now. Anything he does turns to gold.

I didn't think this one was as good as the first, but just like the first it exceeded my expectations.

That second sentence does not mean he is the best actor in hollywood. Maybe the most popular, but the best actor.

So are all the heroes coming out with their own movies before the Avenger flicks start turning out?

I know Captain America is coming, and there have been 2 Iron Man movies. Is the Thor scene from the Thor movie? Or is it a cut from the Avengers?

That being said, I do think he is one of the best out there. Has pretty good range, and always puts on a good performance.

Correct. The second comment was not meant to qualify the first. It was simply an additional observation.

pretty sure the plan is to have all the heroes have movies before the avenger movie comes out.

It was good but not as good as the first one. Lot of down time where nothing happened kind of killed the flow of the movie at times. Downey was good, as was Rourke.

Thor and Captain America have movies coming out in the next two years to go along with the Avengers movie. They are all supposed to coincide and go together.

Saw it in IMAX saturday. Really enjoyed it. Both Downey Jr. and Rourke were great.

Good flick, seeing Thor's hammer (mjolnir) on screen after the credits was worth sitting through the rest of the movie, even if it had been bad. But as it turns out, the movie was pretty awesome. War Machine was badass.

So as it stands, there have already been 3 Avenger movies (Hulk, Iron Man, and IM2) and 2 more are on their way (Thor will be out one year from now, Captain America also sometime next summer.) The Avengers will be out in 2012.

Captain America is what I'm really waiting for.....ironically Johnny Storm from the Fantastic 4 movies will be playing him. The first one will be set during WWII (awesome) and amazing actor Hugo Weaving will be playing Red Skull.

watched it today via the internet, i thought it was very good as well, but i was let down by the final fight scene, it lasted all of a minute, i thought that was kinda lame, but other than that it was great!
