How would you feel if Lebron left, however we ended up getting a front court superstar in place of him? Im not sure who all are free agents, but im talking like D-wade, Melo, CP3, Deron Williams, etc. I think if Lebron left and we got another big time player, we would be just fine and still a contender.

I think Lebron stays BTW, but you never know.

If Lebron leaves, no one wants to come to Cleveland.

CP3, Melo, and Williams are not FA.

Wade won't come to Cleveland.

If Lebron leaves Cavs will be picking in the early lottery next year.

However, Lebron is not leaving.

I don't give a shit who is here...as long as we get a championship. I am a Cavs fan first....Lebron fan second.

What FA would come to Cleveland sans LeBron? He is the only reason they have been able to sign the role players they have!

CP3, Wade, Williams etc are backcourt guys.

Dirk, Amare and Bosh are frontcourt guys.

I dont think Bron goes anywhere but I think this team needs another star at the 4 or 5.

The front office would disagree with you, which is the only explanation for not picking up Stoudamire at the trade deadline.

I think they wanted an extension for Amare before they brought him in. They didnt want to give up JJ for a rental

Isn't a championship priority #1 at this point?

Let's get one thing straight, Phoenix was NEVER going to trade Amar'e..

It was all a ploy between Kerr and Ferry to get Washington to lower their price for Jamison.

How are you so certain of that?

You don't use your superstar in rumors just to help out your buddy GM.

Well, they did?

Now there are talks of Phoenix and Amar'e re-upping his deal in the offseason..

Also, look were Phoenix is at now..

They used this ploy not only to help the Cavs, but to motivate Amar'e.

I mean, maybe they would have traded him if they would have gotten a homerun deal, but none of those existed. People act like Cleveland was the one who said "No deal".. Well, they didn't.

Valid opinion about the ploy imo.

I don't see Cleveland signing another superstar if LeBron leaves. They would end up overpaying a middler tier superstar guy like Joe Johnson to be the #1 at Cleveland which would result in playoffs but early exits.

I guess that's your opinion, and you are entitled to that, but there were plenty of insiders out there who said that Cleveland basically turned down Phoenix.

I mean sure? Who could be against losing Lebron and not getting another superstar to replace him?

Dumb thread.

I dont think the Cavs get a superstar like Bosh, Wade etc. I think a guy like Joe Johnson would be a nice fit, hes clearly not a number 1 but could work well with Bron in a backup roll

Would you still be a Cavs fan if LeBron left and we didn't win the NBA title?(which won't happen, we will still win it)

I'll always be a Cavs fan. I don't care who plays for us or how good they are.

I'd be really disappointed. Lebron makes the Cavs a hell of a lot more fun to watch.
