It was 100% due to the rift with the FO.

I'd like to know how the FO spun his firing.

To the public, team, and fans.

No coach, in his type of situation with roster/money/moves, gets fired especially after making the playoffs both years.

When you're the 8 seed, not many people read too far into the story of why he was fired--they just see the headline. Doesn't matter, the FO can say exactly what they should say--they weren't on the same page and it's their choice to move on. If the fans disagree, it wouldn't be the first time fans have been opposed to a FO move.

I also think they made a mistake, but maybe they get a coach who is more appealing to free agents?

Oh no, its for Footwedge.

That is 7 wins Cleveland needs to get this year to make it past last season's furthest point. He stated that last years Cleveland team is better than this current team.

I'm going to pull an NCF and say that "I told you so". I posted in that last game with the Bulls how there was a close in shot of the coaching staff late in the game and I could see the worried look as if their job was on the line. I think it was a bad move.
