Also, Rasheed Wallace will have an incredulous look on his face the first time he's whistled for a foul.
These are things you can set your watch to.

And that's your opinion, but guys get hot at different points of every game. Pierce is widely known as a closer, so it's hard to say what you are saying.devil1197 wrote: That's your opinion.
But IMO when Pierce came out hot in the 1st quarter, it was because he was fresh. But having to guard LeBron for 4 quarters while also trying to carry a majority of the offensive load will have negative impacts on older players like Pierce in the later parts of the game.
I agree that guys might wear down over the course of a season and into a deep playoff run, but personally I've never understood the argument that guys wear down in the 4th quarter. Yea, they might but so would everyone else. Plus, with all the media timeouts and the time on the bench they get plenty of rest.

I almost lost it when Wallace reached around and tried to steal the ball from Williams on his first foul. He immediately made a face and comlained about the call, and then they showed the replay and he completely hammered Williams. You have absolutely no credibility when you complain about a call like this.RedRider1 wrote: Also, Rasheed Wallace will have an incredulous look on his face the first time he's whistled for a foul.

Other guys get tired, but were talking about LeBron who is 25 vs. Pierce who is 32. LeBron won't get tired like Pierce, both have major roles on the team. Both are counted on to hit shots in the 2nd half and into the 4th quarter.thedynasty1998 wrote:And that's your opinion, but guys get hot at different points of every game. Pierce was 1-10 in the 2nd half, 1-7 in the 4th quarter.
LeBron was 8-14 in the 2nd half, 5-11 in the 4th quarter.
Both players played 39+ minutes, but Pierce obviously got weaker as the game went on.

I think Kobe could give KG a run for the money on the mean look. He grits his teeth and sticks his jaw out after every shot.Heretic wrote:KG would win the MVP every year if mean mugs were an official NBA stat.2quik4u wrote: Garnett goes for 117 cuss words and 23 mean mugs

Paul Pierce has the uncanny ability to only grow facial hair on five strategic locations on both his cheeks.

I like them as a shirt. But not as the MVP shirt, unless they have something else planned for game 5.SQ_Crazies wrote:The One For All shirts? Fuckin' sweet if you ask me.wildcats20 wrote: Not a fan of the shirts.

I'm talking about the "One For All" shirt they gave out tonight. Last year they gave out the Nike MVP shirts the game of the MVP presentation, I figured these were the same type of thing.

One For All is a slogan they've had going for a few years now at the Q, so it might just be a coincidence that they gave them out tonight. I think they're sweet.

Yeah, that wouldn't make much sense. He does give a lot of credit to his teammates--which I love, because he's right, can't do anything without your teammates. But it's definitely his award.wildcats20 wrote: Yeah, I like them; but I thought they were the MVP which I didn't like.
I lol'd pretty hard at Skip Bayless today on 1st and 10, if anyone saw it...classic Bayless. It would honestly be his worst nightmare for me to be on that show with him. I could write a book on the guy, quite possibly my favorite personality on TV.
