Not sure why ANYONE from Cincinnati would think those 3 organizations are great. However, the Reds have had success in the World Series...but I do know what you mean about fans from those 3 teams thinking they are the shit. I go to OU and I am from Cincinnati, and I cringe at people who were pimping up UC (saying they would crush OSU) and Bengals fans who think because they've played 2 playoff games this decade that they are awesome.cview wrote:Steve Bartman can suck a dick. We were going to the Series and that fucker had to grab the ball. (I know, I know. Still had Game 7)SportsAndLady wrote: The Steve Bartman "incident" epitomizes Cubs fans for me. It is the quintessential reasoning why Cubs fans will never be blessed with a World Series Title.
The futility of the Cubs is tempered a bit for me due to the annoying ass Reds fans having to deal with Dusty. If Ohio State stopped accepting douchebags from Cinci that think the Bengals, Reds, and Bearcats are the greatest things since sliced bread my last four years here would have gone from being a 15 on a scale of 10 to a 25.
Blame Steve Bartman all you want, but they still couldn't get the last 4 outs, they still couldn't win game 7, and they still had to play in the World Series...and lets face it, Cubs hadn't been to the World Series since 1945 and lost their last 7 appearances.
I understand they COULD have won, and I understand fans' frustrations with Bartman..but to completely alienate a life long fan because he tried grabbing a foul ball is utterly ridiculous and is a microcosm to the Cubs' franchise (blame it on everyone, but us).

As for the beginning...sounds like we college kids have to deal with the same type of Cinci fuckwads.SportsAndLady wrote:Not sure why ANYONE from Cincinnati would think those 3 organizations are great. As for the Cubs...agreed. Sucks for Bartman that his life basically got turned on its side because of that event. Most Cubs fans I know don't hate him--- just the event. Dude was just in the wrong place. Had he pulled away and Alou catches that ball, Bartman is getting his dicked sucked by every chick in Chicago daily for the rest of his life.
I want one of these after those "bUCkeye state" shirts those clowns came up with.

I've seen the second pic somewhere before.cview wrote: Regardless of which side you're on, they'll show this picture in 50 years and we'll still be talking about two of the best that ever did it. I like the first one the best but they're both sweet. In both pictures they're both doing the exact same thing.
