How could anyone hate the Reds? They suck and are never a threat to anyone.

Surprised to not see the Cubs on there.

lol....yeah right.

The Yankees are easily the most hated team in the ML.

This study is truly flawed.

I said the first point just now to my roommate, and the second point to myself. How people dont hate the Cubs is beyond me. And seriously, the Reds? Its not like they have crushed hopes and dreams of teams' fans. And its not like their fans travel well or anything..wtf

I dont think so. I think most people, lately, hate the Red Sox more than the Yankees.

I love A-rod and actually wasn't mad they won last year, cause of him.

You may be right....it's pretty close.

I know a lot of people (fans of different teams) that hate both teams.

and who hates the Orioles or Astros? I would say the Braves should make that list, but they have sorta fallen off the last few years. They were my yankees of the NL.

Lol, I'd like to see that algorithm. It likely doesn't take into account who the "positive" or "negative" comment is coming from, therefor doesn't account for and Indians fan or Reds fan trashing their own team. Stoopid.

HAHAHAHAH that's the stupidest thing I've ever read. Have you actually HEARD of someone who hates the Indians? I know people who hate Cleveland sports fans, but not the Indians themselves.

I don't agree with that at all. There aren't 5 people in Minnesota, Washington and about 35 other states that hate the Reds (just simply of no relavance whatsoever)........I bet a nice percentage of people in all states don't like the Yankees.....with the Red Sox next.

I find it hard to believe either team is among the most hated, let alone both in the top 3. No way. Both are pretty much irrelevant nationally.

Yeah, I agree with this.

I would think that the Yankees and Red Sox would top that list.

It's the Yankees and Red Sox at the top of the list easily. I'm not a Tribe fan by any means but I don't hate them and would root for them in the playoffs long before rooting for the Yanks or Sox.

This provided some funny remarks in my office today-full of Red Saux, Yanks, Nationals, O's and Phillies fans. Nearly everyone agreed the study was crap and that nearly everyone in the office either doesn't mind or likes the Tribe and Reds.

Also, nearly everyone hated the Mets, Dodgers more.

Actually, I think this is what it is; how a fan base feels about the owners of the franchise. I guess Pirate fans did not care enough to even reply.

The Indians have a good size fan base nationally. I don't know of anyone who hates them. I know a lot of people who hate Dolan, but not the team. Maybe people in New York hate them because they can't beat them in the playoffs, but it will be a long time before they have to worry about running into the Tribe in October again.

The only people I know who hate the Indians are Indian fans.
