The Indians got off to a poor start in California getting blanked 10-0 in the opening game of the series.

Soft tossing A's pitcher Duchscherer could have been arrested during "Green Week" in California, as he kept littering the bases with Indian leadoff hitters in the early innings...only to have Matt Laporta (twice) Branyan, Choo, and Cabrera clean up after him, grounding into rally squelching DP's.
Jhonny Peralta got a hit 'raising' his BA to .156. Lou Marson dipped below his self established "Marson Line" dropping back to under .100 despite actually getting a hit in Thursday's game against the Twins.
The series resumes today at 4:05 PM.
Fausto Carmona (2-0, 3.60) vs. Brett Anderson (1-1, 2.65)

The Offense can't come alive every third or fourth day.
Usually wouldn't watch the game today but might catch some of it because it's rainy in Wooster today

Marson sucks. I have no clue why they continue to force Santana to annihilate bad AAA pitching.

Give me some updates, please, as I am at the Duke Energy Center in Cincy as we speak. Nice place, btw, just a block from the football and baseball fields. Go Tribe!

Choo with a 2 out single to tie it at one in the 6th. The hitless wonders are doing their thing with 3 total hits.

Pleasantly surprised with this groups' 8-9 record. Not outstanding but better than the usual Eric Wedge starts.
