The other threads made me wonder.

I have used Avast! and Avira in the past as they offer well reviewed and quality free programs. I switched to Microsoft Security Essentials when word started going around that it was pretty good and to be honest it's the best antivirus I've ever used. I don't ever notice it which is sort of the point.

So what do you use?

And please, don't ever pay for antivirus software, there's wonderful free software out there that is better than anything you could buy at Bestbuy or Walmart.

Avast here. The new one is pretty nice.

I use STOPzilla. It's kind of a pain in the butt, but it works.
