Chapman gets another win today. Goes 5.2 innings, gives up 4 hits, 1 earned, FIVE walks, 6 strikeouts.
110 pitches through 5 and 2/3 of an inning, still not good enough. Another pretty good outing from Chapman though. Really needs to concentrate on getting that pitch count down. Cutting down on the walks goes hand in hand with keeping that pitch count down.

110 pitches in 5.2 innings? He's the Cuban Daisuke with those stats.

He definitely needs to get the walks under control, as he will already have a naturally high pitch count being a strikeout pitcher.
