I also could not even remember 4 or 5 of those winners, and I try to watch most seasons.

Probably a concept that has run its course...but it is still fun to see how the personalities interact each season...and the games and adventure aspect of it is alway intriguing.
the show definitely laid the groundwork for most of the reality TV genre.

My all-time best players...
1.Richard Hatch basically invented the way the game is still played.
2.Ruppert has become synonymous with 'Survivor'.
3.gotta give Parvati her props even though I don't care for her personally...she's played it more than anyone else.
4.Stephanie in her first season was an absolute warrior.
5.Coach for the novelty factor...he cracks me up.
6.Russell is the inventor of the 'play to get to the final...don't play to win' strategy. Memorable. In real life, I'd think he was a douche.
7.Tom Westman may have been the only 'wire-to-wire' winner; he was the favorite on day one...and he brought that horse home.
8.Colby has been a challenge machine...until this season. Still came close to winning.
9. Rob Mariano is the smartest dude to have never won.
10. Amber Brkch just because she is Hot.
