Yes, that's certainly true. But Ohio State's is typically, no matter the opponent, pretty boring to watch a game happen in (on tv). I've been there for Michael Redd games. The place CAN get exciting. But, as for the tv experience, it's drier than most big time arenas.

I love Diebler though and a couple of their other guys. I hope he can have a great year. I predicted he'd become an All-American by his senior year. That might be over the top, but I do think we'll see him vying for First Team All Big Ten a year from now. I hope he shows the country what he can do. They'll drop their jaws.

I think it seems like less energy simply because OSU doesn't have the kind of student sections that some of the basketball meccas have.

That's attributed to the layout of the Schott. If the student sections were positioned better, the Schott could be a better atmosphere. However for the OSU AD, the almighty dollar reigns supreme!

Well, I have certainly been to some big games when the place was rocking. But yes, the design is not good and with the student section being behind the basket and feathing way back with the seating...that certainly is not good. But it is what it is and not going to change. This discussion comes up every year, multiple times...yawn.
