LMFAO.....well done, Sandra!

Seriously, I'm quite sure she just misspoke or was blatantly misquoted. It's common knowledge that only those shitty teabaggers would use such racist language on purpose.

Very few things have the ability to piss me off more than racism; this story is absolutely wrong and borderline disgusting. How people in power are allowed to have such backward and incorrigible thoughts these days is beyond me.

Sigh...what a dumb thing to say....It's statements that make well meaning caucasian americans lose interest in the unique problems that face people of color. I mean, can you imagine if a WASP said that about his Senate seat representing an outter ring suburb? "Gotta make sure it doesn't get too "Dark" in this Senate seat eh Reginald?"

We wouldn't hear the end of it in the "objective" mainstream media.

Reminds me of Louisiana Mayor Ray Nagin stating New Orleans needed to be rebuilt as a "Chocolate City".

What if a white or latino candidate can serve the people better than a black person? What if in the next election the republican candidate is an african american and the democrat is white? Wouldn't that be a hoot? If I were the black candidate I would remind everyone of Rep Williams request.

Definitely a boneheaded statement.

It's better to be remain silent and thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I wonder if she voted for Ken Blackwell in the last election for governor? Surely she would have wanted to turn the governors seat black.

She's stupid, but not stupid enough to vote for Ken Blackwell, regardless of his race.

Brothers and sisters have I none...but this woman's father is my mother's son.

White seats stay cooler in the summer. Black seats can burn yo ass.

I am not in agreement with the statement, but in answer to someone who questioned why people in power "are allowed" to have such "backward and incorrigible thoughts these days" is fairly clear to me. I think they call it the Constitution. It is a marvelous document that allows us all to utter unbelievable nonsense and be protected under it's provisions.

I think it should stay black too. Have you ever tried to re-upholster a chair before?

Keep it black and make everyone's life easier.
