What direction do you think we go? It's a little hard to project out since there are so many teams drafting in front of them (they pick 21st) but I kind of see them picking Jermaine Gresham. They could use a pass catching TE. If not Gresham they have needs at WR, S, and on the D-line.

I could see them picking either Gresham or Mays

To me, TE is a low hit - high miss draft position. I know the Bengals need a TE but is it worth skipping a more talent player at another position? This draft is very deep in Defense. They could get a very good defensive player at 21. I don't think there is much variance at TE between a first round TE and a third round TE. They are both hit or miss.

Stick with what has worked the last few years, DEFENSE.

Bengals on the clock. Lots of talent on the board still.

Can't complain with that pick. Wonder what happens with Coffman now?

I wonder if the Bengals considered trading down on the 21st pick. Seems to me they could have gotten Gresham a few spots down based on what was still on the board and the other teams needs.

I have a feeling Coffman will be gone by this season. Don't the Bengals still have Utecht and a couple other guys?

yeah he's gone, they cut him last year but it was basically a retirement. he sang the national anthem this year for the reds at opening day.

i think they are in talks to bring back reggie kelly but with this pick i don't know what they will do.

I would love to see Dunlap fall to us in round 2 tomorrow. Cody from Bama could be an interesting option also, similar situation to Smith from last year.

Yeah Dunlap would be nice. Or a safety? Maybe Taylor Mays?

Mays won't fall that far, but maybe trade a #2 and #3 to move up into the first part of round 2 to get mays. Did Roy Williams get resigned? He could probably help teach Mays.

With Bryant and Gresham coming in this is a do or die year for Carson. We could be talking about Mallet, Luck, and Locker next year.

Eh I think it is a little premature to start jettisoning Palmer. He wasn't vintage Palmer, but they did make the playoffs last year.

Stop your scaring me as I don't like any of those 3, I would take Jordan over them.
Not a bad pick but I hate already injured players coming into the NFL. Thats just my opinion though. Doesn't speak too highly of Chase Coffman either.

What is everyone hoping for today?

Picks are:
round 2, #22 (54th overall)
round 3, #20 (84th overall)
round 3, #32 (96th overall)

I'm hoping for
Dunlap, DE Florida in round 2. Mays or Cody would be nice but doubtful they fall that far.
Some combo of Franks CB Oklahoma, Owusu-Ansah CB Indiana PA, Johnson OG Bama, Burnett S Georgia Tech, Gilyard WR Cincinnati. I'd only take Mardy with that 96th pick.

I'd like to see them trade up and take Taylor Mays.

No thanks on Taylor Mays. The Bengals need a safety who can cover.

Bengals don't need to draft a Kicker after signing Free Agent K Mike Nugent

The guy I want the Bengals to take.

Eric Norwood.

Myron Rolle, Mardy Gilyard, John Conner, Javier Arenas and Mike Kafka all guys I'd like them to consider.

I agree with you on taking Myrone Rolle or Mardy Gilyard. I think Myrone Rolle would be good for the Bengals.
