This is kind of relevant. Someone share in my disbelief with me. I was arguing with a guy I know loosely about the Celtics on facebook. His first mistake was calling Cavs fans bandwagoners (meanwhile five years ago the Celtic's arena is half-full with fans wearing bags on their heads, then KG signed and stuck his dick down everyone's throat and made them care again)...but he went on to say Varejao is overrated...Overrated how? The only thing we expect Andy to do is go out and hustle and rebound (which he does very well) and get some easy buckets here and there. He went on to say this:

"Everyone knows the wallace trade was bad. yeah hes lazy. but id rather have him than a flopper, whiner and complainer [he was referring to Wallace here] who cant shoot past 7 feet away from the rim. at least wallace can shoot"

I couldn't believe myself. He literally said that he'd rather have Wallace on his team because Varejao whines and complains too much.
I showed him the technical foul count for this season (Wallace 17, Varejao 6), showed him how Wallace has numerous records for technical fouls, and then I showed him how comparable their numbers are (each average 8-9 ppg, but Varejao grabs a few more rebounds and plays a few more minutes, and how Wallace's shooting numbers are actually way down this season)...then I told him to fuck off and get a clue.

Boom roasted. Rant over.

I don't really dislike players. Obviously there are guys that are whiners and pricks, but I don't think much of it.

^^^Agreed. I really don't like anyone in particular...Noah can get under my skin at times, but I just love to watch the game. Now, I will say this, there is way too much whining now. And that's almost every starter on every team.

I think it is hilarious that people are so quick to call people "thugs", love shyt talkers through the internet...lol Hope you feel tough...

Right because there's a 101 ways for me to personally call Kevin Garnett a thug. If I write him a letter that says 'Dear Kevin, you're a thug, love me'...and I enclose recent pictures, my address with directions on how to get there from Boston, my cell phone number, and my work and school schedule -- do you think he'll ever see any of it? Probably not. Come on use your head.

On the contrary, I actually never called anyone a punk on here. If I did, show me where. But no really, answer my question. I really don't have a logical way of calling Kevin Garnett a punk to his face, do I? I guess I could fork over hundreds of dollars for courtside tickets at a game and yell at him? It's one thing to make fun of someone you see face-to-face often on the internet, but celebrities and athletes are completely different. I could cuss up a storm in Garnett's name and he'd never know the difference.

Actually, Michael Wilbon called him a thuggish player on PTI today....He took it one step further by expressing his comments on national television.
