This is incredible. What is the longest game ever without a run? I know we have had some long ones recently, but I thought they had some runs.

Neither, I believe Santana was pinch hit for in the 7th and not sure about the Cain, but I think he was pinch hit for also.

Speaking of great pitching... Ubaldo Jimenez has a no-no going for the Rockies through 7.

With SIX (6) walks. LOL, reminds me of the Sanchez no-no from last year. I dont remember how many walks Sanchez had, but he was all over the place (which was to his advantage actually).

AMAZING, no one is picking up on this no-no. ESPN News, ESPN, ESPN2, MLB Network!

Couldve sworn we saw Jonathan Sanchez's last year, no?

Either way, no breaking news on the bottom lines, etc.

No-no is attained. As for this thread. Cards threatening with runners on the corners with 2 out.

UPDATE: on to the 17th.

Somewhere Tim Kurkjian and Jason Stark are wetting themselves tonight. A no-hitter on the same night as a scoreless game making it to the 17th inning is enough to make them think they've died and gone to heaven with the way guys like those love quirky baseball milestones like that. Entire seasons have gone by with either one or the other not happening, and today both happen on the same day.

I apologize in advance laley.

28,000 fans went to the Mets/Cards game and a soccer game brokeout.

lol, the GREAT thing about soccer for those that hate it is you KNOW its only gonna be 1.5 hrs.

BTW, I never care about people making fun of soccer, so have at it. Half the time, like right now, I laugh at the jokes.

I appreciate the game a ton, and love to play and watch it. I love to talk about it, but understand why people find it boring.

I think soccer fields are too small......they hsould use golf courses or something larger.

This is more rare than the no-hitter in today's MLB. Far more rare.

Wasn't there a 17 or 18 inning shutout last year?

Not sure, but there have been 15 no-hitters since 2000. The 0-0 in the 18th is far more unlikely to see.
