I'm going to my first ever bachelor party tonight. My buddy is the first one in my group of friends to tie the knot. I've never been to one before and I don't really know what to expect other than pure awesomeness. Its going to be in Kent (close to Kent State). He said he didn't want to go to any strip clubs, but I'm pretty sure we are going to find our way to one. I want to make sure he has an unforgettable night, but at the same time I don't want to go terribly crazy and buy him every single drink. So... what's customary? How many drinks/shots do you buy him? What do you buy him? Do you chip in on a lap dance with others? Can anyone recommend any good places to go to in Kent (bars, strip clubs, fun places, etc)? I'm not familiar at all with the area.

Thanks

Really? Oh man... I'm glad you told me that. I'm usually the one taking all the pics (I know guys aren't big into picture taking, but I do and usually everyone is always like, "Hey... I'm glad you were taking pics" later).

You don't want ANY evidence! Tell him to wear a rubber too! STD's could be considered 'evidence' of what happened at his bachelor party. :p

On the Hangover and STD's note... a slightly modified statement:

Remember, what happens at the Bachelor party, stays at the Bachelor party. Except herpes. That shit'll come back with you.

Nice thread. My future son-in-law's Bachelor party is tonight, but down in Kentucky.

I've been to plenty. Like stated above Mr. Bachelor pays for nothing and should always have a drink in his hand. I've been seen a few part takers in the event and didn't spend a dollar. Remember the night is about him and not anyone else.

You should end the night at the strip club, but if it's not his cup of tea or if there is an agreement with the fiancee regarding this, I would stay far away from them, IMO.

Out of the many I went to, there was only one that was not fun. That is only due to the host being a dad the whole night and freaking out over every little thing and his wife was there being a mom. I just wanted to take my dude to the bar to get him out of that environment.

Make sure you have a DD or call Bradley Cabbies.

This. If things go too far into Very Bad Things territory, there could be trouble.

Guess I fell out of the loop on that one. I haven't used one for about 8 years now! ;)

Get him as drunk as possible w/o giving him alcohol poisoning, and make sure he don't screw another chick, no matter how good an idea it seems like @ 3am!

Since it's in Kentucky, his sister will be the stripper and they'll do her before the nights over.............................but it's OK, its not like he hasn't done his sister before. :D

Definately worry about STD's.

Don't, under any circumstances, let him have sex with someone else. Or get a blow job. Or any of that shit. NO no no no. We assume he WANTS to get married.

However, get as many titties in his face as possible.
