Bulls will sweep the Cavs. Then Cleveland will get hit with a HUUUGE air strike for obvious reasons. Our government wouldn't want the contagious severe depression spreading because of the Cavs getting spanked and LBJ leaving because of it. Soooo, they'll put an end to that shit pronto.

When they sit guys..its BS as well.
They have rested players every single time after wrapping up a seeding. A few years ago against Buffalo, they rested as many as possible, but they won the game anyway.

The Steelers win over the Browns that year was still important for seeding purposes for Pittsburgh. That is the only reason why Ben and others played. The starters played well into the 4th quarter that day....and once the game was finally stored away, then the first teamers came out.

Neither the media nor the Steeler fans I knew have bitched about resting starters when the game is meanigless..

Your view on this subject encompasses a teeny weeny minority.
I dont recall that last game meaning anything at all against the browns when he was hurt.......I recall we went and i really didnt want to because the game meant absolutely N O T H I N G but ill check it out.

As far as being in the minority...boy I dont know....i recall all the browns fans i know bitching about the colts a few years ago, and also my "minority " viewpoint....well apparently it isnt too much of a minority if the commish of both of those leagues are looking into ways to get the practice or resting guys to stop.

I wouldn't put it past our fucked up government. Luckily for the Cavs, there is no way in hell they get swept, or lose for that matter. I could see it happening though. Just like it does in the movies. Or maybe the Simpson's, just put that huge glass dome over Cleveland so the rest of the US doesn't come in contact with the depression.

Greatest player to ever touch a basketball? Apocalypse is coming if this guy is the greatest player to ever touch a basketball. Some other guy that used to wear #23 might have something to say about that. Until Lebron wins 6 NBA championships, 5 MVP awards, 14 all-star appearances, 6 NBA finals MVP's, a defensive player of the year award, 10 NBA first team selections, and 9 defensive first team selections, I suggest you quit talking out of your ass. Hell, Lebron doesn't even have 1 NBA championship yet. To be the best, you've gotta win championships. Until Lebron tops Jordan's 6 NBA championships, he won't even be close to the best player to ever touch a basketball.

Well this whole post is filled with bullshit.

If what you're saying is true then the other #23 better get his ass in shape and come out of retirement. If he doesn't add a few more titles then he won't even be close to the best player to ever touch a basketball either.

My point is, his entire resume speaks for itself and is much more impressive than Lebron's. Not to mention, there are numerous others who have just as impressive resumes that I would much rather give consideration for the best player to ever touch a basketball....Lebron is a phenomenal player, but he's in tough company for the "the best to ever touch a basketball." And as far as the entire post being filled with bullshit, check his credentials and you'll see that it is actually pretty damn accurate.

Hey...maybe it's a good idea to compare someones entire career to half of one somewhere else, but around here it doesn't make sense.

Do you really think Lebron is going to win 6 NBA championships in the 10-12 years left in his NBA career? He should probably start working on the scoring titles too. You're clueless man!

People were expecting Jordan and the Bulls to win it every year with the cast they had and quite frankly, no one could touch them. Thus far, all the talk is how Lebron can't get over the hump. No doubt he will eventually, but my argument was with sleeper, who confidently said Lebron could be the best player to ever touch a basketball. To me that's an ignorant statement and I simply presented Jordan's resume to prove a point because there are tons of players that one could make a claim to be the "best ever." The interesting thing to me is that most Cleveland fans were defending the choice of Cleveland to rest their starters because they said it was the best choice to pursue a championship and that "wins" are the most important thing. So if winning a championship is the most important thing, then Lebron better get busy real quick if he wants to be the best.
