I agree Big Mike is spending his last week in Hollywood. I was surprised to see Casey in the bottom three but he is becoming old, at least in my book.

Yeah, I don't understand what anyone heard to think that Siobhan was good. I didn't like her in the audition round and couldn't believe she was getting by each week in the competition. IMO, she had MAYBE one good week...and I can't even tell you when that was.

Nah, Aaron will go home next. He is out of his league at this point. The worst one left. He'll have a nice country music record and may have a career in the industry....but it's his time to go next. Big Mike has one more week after this.

bubbles-it was the week she sang the Aretha Franklin song she sang at the end of the show last night--she blasted that out pretty well...

I thought Aaron's song this week was his best performance but I did find it a bit odd that he sang that to his mom.

I have not watched very much at all but have read bits and pieces about the show this year.

Is it really true that Seacrest and company actually begged Crystal to stay when she wanted to go home?

^ That's the word. I have heard a few different things about her. Supposedly one night at dinner she sat at a table all by herself and when asked why she said they were together all of the time and that she didn't have to be by them 24/7. I heard that she wanted to quit because of how hard it was being there. Well shit I don't think anyone thought it was going to be a cake walk.

Maybe I'm alone, but while Bowersox has the best voice on the show, I really thought Siobhan was 2nd best.

She was weird, she was ugly, she screeched at times, but overall she's better than Big Mike, Casey, Lee, etc.

FYI, in some of the past seasons when the talent was good, Siobhan, Casy, Mike, Lee, etc don't even make the top 12. This season its Bowersox and everyone else blows.

Yeah, the season definitely blows. Crystal should easily win but weirder things have happened.

It is American Idol. Not "American #1 Singer."

It is who is the most marketable, who the fans like the most. Fans obviously didn't like Sybian, so they voted her off.

Some of you people are crazy. Both Casey and Lee are easily top-6 most years. Those two are quite good, maybe Casey has not been as consistent and Lee has been slower to develop, but in terms of talent they are absolutely on par with Daughtrey or David Cook. Thy are going to end-up doing well and will be probably top-10 of all-time Idol sellers.

People forget, this is all Idol has really given us:
1) Carrie Underwood8)
2) Clarkson
3) Daughtry
4) Clay Aiken
5) David Cook
6) Adam Lambert
7) Fantasia (Broadway, maybe off-Broadway)
8) another Broadway/Acting women who's name escapes me
9) Ruben Stoddard (has done nothing but I think one of the best of the rest)

And there are a few more people who haven't done much but did pretty well on the show. IMO, Lee, Casey and Crystal are maybe top-15 all-time on this show and any one of them honestly could end-up in the top-5 here for album sales. Casey and Lee will do really well if they get in the right band. Casey struggles a bit as far as creativity/arrangements, but he has a great sounding voice and plays guitar really well.
