Then why do you apply their opinions to other arguments...like those on the economy or health care?

They didn't have to deal with the situations we have in those industries either.

My question is why do you consider their opinions to be absolute and true in one case and not applicable in another?

I can top that. Out here in Seattle, our ballots are printed in Japanese. Can someone please explain why?

Yes. Because we haven't adopted English as our national language--therefore we cater to all of the other people who aren't required to know it.

If you go to Mexico, you better know some spanish or you're screwed--they don't care if you don't speak it. And I'm talking about areas outside of big tourist spots. American's spend enough money in Cancun to justify them having a lot of things in English. But even in places in Cancun, the only English that they really understand are numbers because they're trying to sell you something.
