Big game tonight to get the series off to a good start, Cueto needs to avoid 20+ pitch innings.

Arroyo draws the short straw again and has to go against the only lefty. I'm hoping the offense wakes up and the Reds take 3 but I'd be satisfied with a split.

I can't wait for this series.

Florida is a good, tough team so it'll be interesting if the Reds can stay competitive against a tough team on the road early in the season.

Pretty typical lineup, easy to argue about it when almost everyone can't hit. I'd give Stubbs a day off and start Dickerson and move Hernandez up a few spots.

I am not a big fan of Laynce Nix at all. I'd much rather see Dickerson or Gomes out there. Nix should only be used as a pinch hitter. But heck it's getting to the point that I don't even want to see him do that. The guy is a horrible situational hitter. He tries to hit a home run every single time, and more often than not he doesn't hit anything.

Same here, I still can't believe Dusty went with the vet over a guy like Balentien just because he's a lefty.

Right when you think he's about to get cut though he will go 2-4 with 2 doubles in the gap.

Wait, I thought you were going to talk about Laynce. Somewhere in there you stopped talking about him and talked about the entire team.

Regradless, we are 10 minutes away from hopefully a 15 run, 22 hit night down in Florida.
