Has anyone played with Wilson Staff golf balls? I saw some today at the golf course I was at and didn't realize they made golf balls. The prices were pretty cheap so I wasn't sure how good they are. I'm trying to find a golf ball I like so was wondering about these before I buy some.

The Golf Warehouse has Tx4's for $15/dozen. I saw they had pretty good reviews so was thinking of getting a couple dozen of those.

tx4's didn't wear too well... but not any worse than pro v1's... the FG Tours are much better.

Alright, thanks for the help. Think I'll try the tx4's as for $15/dozen that seems to be a really good deal. The FG Tours are $38 on there. Why doesn't Golf Galaxy, Dick's, or GolfSmith not have Wilson Staff golf balls? Seems like the only golf ball they don't carry.

Wilson isn't big in America anymore. You go over to Europe and it's everywhere. They just don't spend money on advertising like the TM's and Titleist's do. It's an old, familiar name in golf though and still huge everywhere else.

I occasionally find a really old Wilson in my shag bag.

I'm not a fan... the Staffs feel like Top Flites, which to me feel llike I'm hitting a rock

I don't know which ones you're hitting, but the Tx4's, FG Tours, 50/50's, and Zips are all very soft balls.

I hate any type of Top Flite.

I play Nike Powersofts or Noodles, whatever I feel like at the time

That's fine, but all of those are Wilson Staff balls.

I must be hitting an older version of the Wilson Staff then the few times I've played with one... just wasn't too receptive for me
