Once again, nice try at changing the subject.

LBJ will get his, probably this year imo.

I think the best part of it is Kobe said the last play of the game was set up for Gasol to take the 3. Why is Kobe not demanding to take the last shot?

I know why, he's an overrated chucker who rapes women.

All jesting and rib-busting aside, the reason they drew it up to Pau was not to tip their hand in late-game situations for the Blazers, who could be their first round opponents.

If that's true, you'd think the Blazers would have film from a similar situation to see how they would normally do it. Either way, I'm not sure they Lakers cared if they won, seeing as they've already wrapped up the 1 seed, but if I'm the Lakers I'd rather play Portland than the Spurs.

Hell, the way the Lakers are(n't) playing, I'd rather be playing the Moscow Dynamo in the first round.

Why is it that everytime there is an argument somebody brings up rings. Just because somebody won a championship does not make them a better player than somebody who has not. This is not an individual sport. It is a team sport. It takes 5 + players to win the championship. Kobe did not win the rings by himself. This has to be the dumbest argument in team sports.

Alot of people are consumed with championships.

They base alot on a player on whether they won a title or not.

Idk who the Lakers want to play in the first round..I mean it could be Portland, who you have only beaten once in about 15 times. The spurs, who nobody really wants to play, loaded with experience. Probably want to play the Thunder over anybody, but they are playing pretty good right now as well.

LMAO, they don't want to tip their hat to the Blazers? Because it's so hard to know what the Lakers are going to do down the stretch...

They drew it up for Pau Gasol because Batum is a Kobe killer.

Yea, you're right. They were so scared of Batum, they drew up a play to get their 7 foot center a 3-point opportunity.

Yeah, well it's tough to block a 7 footer shooting a 3, not expected either.

Batum is a BA defender and his length gives Kobe problems. He absolutely will not get a good look against Batum. Literally the only reason he plays is defense, that's how good he is. He's young so he's not getting the props he deserves, but you just wait, he will. He's one of the premiere defenders in the league right now. There is a reason that Kobe has scored 20 on 23 shots and 32 on 37 shots, shooting below 40% in both games against the Blazers and it ain't his finger.

Agreed, it's just all the Faker fans that know LBJ is the best player in the world, and that's all they got....If that's the case, again Dilfer>Marino.

Kobe has 5 rings if you count the brown one he copped in Denver.

Not to mention Gasol has been their best player this season.

Skank agreed. Like Horry > Barkley and the list goes on and on. I could see if people were comparing golf or tennis or track and field.

That's harsh to say the Dancing Queen didn't rape anyone in relation to him being titleless.

the ring arguement is more valid when it comes to basketball than football, a QB only plays offense...in hoops, the player plays both O and D...but you have to look at who the comp is....stockton, ewing, malone, barkley, miller...all might have won titles but Jordan was running the show then....the only knock on Lebron to me thus far in the title realm is that he didnt get his team to the finals last year

He probably missed the shots on purpose.
