Dusty specifically mentioned last night after the game that Bruce was swinging the bat well, so I would assume he will let him hit his way out of the slump. I'd love to see Francisco go 4-5 today and force them to think about dropping Cairo instead.
Hopefully Harang will pitch around Lee and have a successful game, starting 0-2 would not be good at all.

I'm a big Francisco fan, but I really don't want to see Francisco wasting away on the Reds bench. If they can somehow get him some at bats in LF a few days per week, then I wouldn't mind Francisco sticking around... but IMO he needs to play everyday and if he can't do that here, he needs to be in Louisvilledave wrote: I'd love to see Francisco go 4-5 today and force them to think about dropping Cairo instead.

Stubbs hits a routine ground ball in exactly the right spot for a fast guy to lead off the 4th after Hanigan's big hit to give the Reds the lead, and turn over the Reds line-up to let Stubbs lead off.

How does Fontenot get such a good throw on that backhand play on Cabrera when he slipped when he planted to throw? That kept the lead-off batter off the bases.
