If you go to a game and get pissed that a franchise player isn't playing to rest up for the playoffs to hopefully win a title when your team has locked up the #1 overall... you're not a fan.

I left out the important parts you glossed over.

a true fan comes to see the team play not a player play. was anyone bitching when melo was out for what seemed like forever? I bet he could have played. And I guarantee with all the contact bron takes he plays all bumped and bruised up and this time is helping him be 100% for post season. Like someone else said, look what happened to Roy last night.

Lol so someone tell me...Why did Jordan play all 82 games those years? Did it hurt his post season runs...No, Was he tired and too bumped up to win the title....no, Were the fans happy they got to see the games best player play and not watch bench bums close the season out...yes

And his coach was Phil...the same coach who is supposedly holding kobe out from playing so....

LOL, can we add a poll?

"Is this the dumbest conversation happening on the Huddle right now?"

It would win in a runaway.

When a fan/person buys a ticket for a game, they are buying it with nothing more guaranteed than to see the two teams play. Of course a lot of tickets are purchased months in advance, so it is impossible to know who will be playing. If any fan is pissed about going to a Cavs game and not seeing Lebron play then it is their fault for not getting on Stubhub and selling the shit(regardless of whether they get even half of their initial investment back). Part of the risk of buying tickets to any live event is that you could end up seeing a poor product for a million reasons.

Honestly, I think more fans should be pissed if Lebron IS playing. All my friends and I buy Ohio State season tickets every year and pay pretty good money for them and we'd all be way more pissed if Terrelle Pryor or Chris Wells or Troy Smith were playing in the fourth quarter of a blowout against some creampuff.

I think true Cavs fans don't really care if Lebron James plays or not. A true Cavs fan realizes Lebron put in the work to give himself the rest and if you want to see Lebron come watch him in the playoffs.

I'm considering buying a ticket to see the Cavs play tomorrow, and as much as I love Lebron James, I don't care if he plays.

The only people who complain about LeBron sitting are A) LeBron fans and not Cavs fans or B) Media trying to make a story.

If people were true Cavs fans, they would go to the game and enjoy it no matter who dressed for our team.. Sure, people LOVE watching LeBron, but I think people would all agree we have bigger things on task instead of playing to win a few meaningless regular season games.

The SAME people who are bitching about LeBron not playing would be the same ones bitching if Lebron were playing and banged his knee or severely sprained an ankle.. They would ALL be questioning Mike Brown on why he was playing, etc..

People need to grow a pair and stop bitching about everything. Much more important things in life to worry about than LeBron not playing games #79, 80, and 81 so far...

People need to grow and pair just show up to work and do the job they are paid to do....play ball! Resting up for the playoffs? C'mon Jordan didn't take games off to rest up and that seemed to work out pretty good for him.

^^^Way to stay on topic, after losing 4 players to the L and winning 2 championships in 4 yrs your bound to have a down year.

And as such, the Tarheels did not live up to the "reload" tag that you labeled them with.

^^^^ Yes we all know the Heels had a very below average season, way to point that out and get off topic again.
