It would win in a runaway.
When a fan/person buys a ticket for a game, they are buying it with nothing more guaranteed than to see the two teams play. Of course a lot of tickets are purchased months in advance, so it is impossible to know who will be playing. If any fan is pissed about going to a Cavs game and not seeing Lebron play then it is their fault for not getting on Stubhub and selling the shit(regardless of whether they get even half of their initial investment back). Part of the risk of buying tickets to any live event is that you could end up seeing a poor product for a million reasons.
Honestly, I think more fans should be pissed if Lebron IS playing. All my friends and I buy Ohio State season tickets every year and pay pretty good money for them and we'd all be way more pissed if Terrelle Pryor or Chris Wells or Troy Smith were playing in the fourth quarter of a blowout against some creampuff.
