Lots of people in this economy, if they were thinking. Most people who go to law school are making a terrible mistake. Most current law first year students would probably be best of now dropping out altogether, even with the debt they've already incurred.

Heh. There are times when it makes good sense (e.g., in my situation), but most people go to law school thinking that it will grant them a life of money, prestige, and exciting court drama. Instead, they get a life of eating lean cuisines at their desk 3 times a day while huddled in a cubicle somewhere keeping track of life in six-minute increments as they race through piles of documents in an attempt to figure out which are responsive, all while paying off massive student loans with no real job security.
