Got to give kudos to Acta putting Sizemore in the 2 hole. Sizemore has 5 or 6 RBI's already. Buttwedge couldn't figure that out.

Missed innings 4-8 but caught the others. Looked really good. Its amazing how many good bunts (and bunters) we have this year. I love having a team that has those options and speed. LaPorta has looked really good as well.

Regardless, we still BLOW!

I think you are kind of seeing the managing aspect of Manny Acta in play here..

Wedge and Shelton wanted a team that was built mainly for power and used the long ball to score a bulk of their runs, or at least xbh..

Acta wants this team to find ways to get on base, use the overall team speed to create havoc on the base paths and just be sure to move the runners along, albeit by sacrifice hits or what be it..

I love the mentality of this team so far. I think the line up is perfect right now. Choo, though he's not hitting greatly yet, is still getting on base and if Pronk and Peralta even show a little life, this team could be pretty decent.

I also like the bullpen so far. Tony Sipp made one mistake, but other than that, the bullpen was lights out again. And Chris Perez is looking like a GREAT pick up from the Cards now. 24 year old with filthy stuff and could turn into a very reliable closer.

Yes Chris Perez could be very good. Raffy Perez looked very good tonight as well. He struggled with control a little bit, but overall I was happy with his performance. But, I think this will be the only time this season we will be over .500.

Good way to start the season winning 2 out of 3 in Chicago.

Pitching staff has been good, giving up 14 hits in 3 games.

What did Cleveland do to the balls to win these 2 games?

This is a miscarriage of justice I tell you!

Agree with almost all but the 'line-up' part....three lefties in a row gives the opposition too easy an opportunity to play match up late in the game.

Actually you may have meant Joe Smith with the one mistake. He was the one who let up the two run homer last night that put Chicago up 3-2, not Sipp.

Missed this one but am excited to see the win. They've already won more games this year then the first say 6 weeks last year. I can't really remember but I do remember that if felt like we were o'fer last year forever.

Pleasantly surprised with what I'm seeing so far. Unlike Wedge, it looks like Acta has them prepared and has lit some kind of fire under their asses. If they can stay near .500 for April, I'll be pretty pleased.
