Maybe the most accomplished football player but there are a ton of better football player to have played college football.

bleh..he was the backup for one national championship, lost to michigan in a bowl game, won a championship, then beat an overrated cincinnati team. also won a heisman. thats a good career..but i dont think that equates to the greatest college football player of all time

Why does it matter?

The regular college fan knows that Tebow is accomplished. But he is hardly the best college football player ever.

Nope, Archie was another player who was very accomplished but hardly the best college player ever.

Tebow is a very good college player but he isn't the best.

Also, didn't even play his SR year which he would have shattered all records he previously set and probably would have won his 2nd Heisman.

We are not talking about most accomplished, but the best overall players. Tebow played on a some very good UF teams, no doubt about it but he isn't the best PLAYER ever.

Gibby said exactly "show me a player that was better than him".

Which implies, that there isn't a player better than Tebow which is false.

Yep, right back at you.

Tebow is very accomplished, but he is hardly the best college player ever.

There are that are better than Tebow with comparable statistics (for their positions), accomplishments, and awards who didn't even play four years.

You're hardly taking an unbiased approach to the issue. Tebow was very good for UF and accomplished a lot, but he is not the best individual college player of all time.

pointless arguing with him, he's not going to give in to the idea that tebow just isn't the greatest of all time.
