This post pretty much makes you an idiot. First of all this is middle school, and boy's sports can be just as painful at that age. Your opinion. Of course compared to men/boy's sports, they aren't as good. But there is some darn good girl's sports out there. A lot of people say women's sports suck, but if you went to a high school where girls sports were GOOD, it's different. There was A TON of excitement around girls basketball and volleyball when I was at Salem. They didn't suck at all. I mean, comparably, they aren't as good as the guys in pretty much anything athletically--but that doesn't mean they aren't good at the sport. In fact, I know more than a handful of girls who are better than probably 99% of the guys on here, only reason they couldn't beat the guys is athleticism, but they're better pure basketball players than most of us.
I know a girl who could probably beat half the guys on here in a game of 1 on 1.

Yeah, there was excitement with girls basketball when I was at West Branch. Mostly because they were good enough to win state. Same thing can be said for the girls track team. It's exciting when they're good. Actually, that's accurate for almost all sports, male or female.

I went to a high school where we had state champions and state runner ups in soccer and volleyball and our girls basketball team was frequently in the top of hte state. I never said it's not exciting to have these teams do good because it definitely is; it's just not good athletics. Well from my experience, I'd disagree about tempo. But again, that's your opinion. The game isn't just about athletic ability, like I said, I know a lot of girls who are better pure basketball players than their male counterpart. I agree, it can be blah, but they don't all "suck".
Maybe I Wear Pants was at the WB/Salem girls basketball games in '04 and '05. Chaos.

I agree, it's not as fun to watch because of the different in athleticism. But yeah, suck isn't the best word. Give the ladies some credit, they bust their ass for these games just like guys do.
