Simple yet very effective. Going to air tomorrow during the Masters.

Figured Nike would do something.

My one question: How much stock footage of Woods' dad is there? haha.

Creepy. Heard about this on my way to work this morning on the radio.

I thought it was a good commercial. Apparently some marketing company out of the Netherlands or Norway or something came up with it

I'm not sure how it is disturbing? They used his fathers 2 years ago as well to narrate a commercial.

I thought it was a very good commercial. I'm sure there will be some backlash but when isn't there.

It's creepy when you see Mr. Robot (Woods) standing there.

Pretty common knowledge that Daddy chased more pussy than Rin Tin Tin. So this is kinda hypocritical if you ask me. Now if his Mom dressed him down that would have more impact and be more believable.

Tiernan I actuall agree with you. I am sure Earl gave Tiger as much advice about skirt chasing as he did about sinking a putt. I think a commerical with his mom lashing out at him and hitting him over the head with a golf club would have been great. I know from his first press conference she was pretty ticked..

Interesting indeed, but what the hell does this have to do with Nike products?

It's like watching an Elephant on fire walking a tightrope ... then fading to a Burger King logo with the phrase "have it your way."

If that commercial aired, I would go buy a Whopper just to support it.

Nike is more about the brand than a specific product, so I do think it's effective.

I was glued to the commercial when I first saw it this morning. Although it's creepy, I think it is highly effective.

This is why Nike is smart and didn't drop Tiger.

Been aired already a handful of times on ESPN and the Golf Channel this morning. It's all we're going to see this weekend.

Stupid commercial and stupid person. I will never be a Tiger fan again. That commercial made me want to go buy some Reeboks.

Yeah, I agree a little creepy. I know it gets the Nike brand name more publicity, but is there really anyone out there who doesn't know who Nike is? I would prefer to know about their new products than see some ad with a ghost voice.

You guys realize that by getting us to talk about this ad, positive or negative, the ad has done its job. Probably even better than they thought. It was a controversial ad, so it also got free play on news stations all day as well.

Nike advertising team= GOAT

I understand what you are saying, but how does it really promote Nike products. I could understand if it was an unknown company just trying to get their name in front of the public, but this is Nike. I don't understand how this sells Nike products.

Oh well, I guess as they say any publicity is good publicity.
