The fan in me wanted him to stay.

The human being in me says its clear he needed to go. Nothing left to prove other than a nat'l title obviously.

After his boy got hurt the other night in the WVU-Duke game, this was a no-brainer. Good luck Evan.

Here is a link to the presser for anyone who missed it. I honestly think that this wasn't as easy a decision as it should've been for Evan. You have to love the kid, as you can tell that TOSU meant the world to him.

I was hoping it was a Mark Titus press conference announcing he will seek a Medical RedShirt...

I heard ET is not hiring an agent. Any chance he comes back because he is not happy with the team that will be drafting him?

It is strange that a projected top 3 pick wouldn't hire an agent.

The deadline to go back to college is prior to the draft. Once that deadline passes, the player cannot re-enroll.
May 8th is the deadline, the draft is June 24th. The May 8th date was moved up from the previous one which was I believe June 15th.

So basically, Turner would have till May 8th to come back to OSU without hiring an agent.

All wishful thinking...he is gone.

Not a chance. He said that during the decision making process he knew that whichever way he chose he had to do it with "both feet in."
