I'm glad my mother-in-law didn't shoot me for wearing plaid shorts and a tshirt for Easter dinner.
She should have though.

Pretty sure Jesus wore a robe and sandals so I don't think God will care.
Only because he was a carpenter and couldn't afford an Armani suit.

I always thought Darwin awards were for people who do dumb shit to get themselves killed accidentally.

Yeah, if Jesus had to dress up now, he'd be flyer than the rest of 'em. No doubt.

while my prayers go out to the family, i have one thing to say.....

what the fuck is wrong with our world? a 6 year old girl commits suicide, teens being bullied at school so badly they commit suicide, a 15 year old girl sells her 7 year old step-sister for sex, and now this. It is all like on bad dream, people just to...forget it, because no matter what i say, horrible things like this are going to happen. it is just sad

You said it. Some absolutely amazingly tragic stories lately. Just wow.

Angel wears the cut-off short-short jeans she wore in high school!

I'm not complaining! They look awesome!

And yet--- people will come on here (particularly on the polictical forums) and say the "Good Old Days" or the "Golden Era" were not that great and people are just being nostalgic. That stuff just did not happen back then to the degree it does now.

The stuff likely happened just as often, there just wasn't the swift media coverage like there is now. People have been fucked up since the beginning of man.

+2 You just hear about everything now and as soon as it happens. Back in the day you might have just heard about local stuff or some very outlandish thing that made its way to your newspaper.
