I want to see him play really well and be in contention and, who knows, maybe he'll find a way to work some Sunday magic, just to show people that all this won't affect his golf game like people think

The thing is.......I dont really care. All this TW stuff has done has made me watch less ESPN, listen to less sports radio because if some athlete, or guy, wants to snag some females who are ready and willing then well, that is between him and his wife.
He wasnt doing anything illegal that I know of......so I really dont care to hear about it.
Wouldnt say i was a tiger fan to begini with........mostly because of media coverage and those who tout he is a better athlete than those who play the physical sports.
I dont care what happens in whatever tournament he returns to........the outcome I hope he has? >>>well..whatver outcome it takes to gets his name and topic outta the fuckn news every night.

I will always root for golfer Tiger. His personal life does not effect that perception of him.
If it wasn't for him, a lot of us under 35 would have never picked up a golf club.
I may not be a very good golfer but I really enjoy it and I would have never attempted it if it wasn't for him.

I'd love for him to win, but I also hope the galleries give him the business. Would love to be there to launch some serious verbal shit his way during his round.
I want him to win. I have always wanted him to win but I used to think he was an arrogant jerk. Now that he has come crashing down to earth he may actually be human and I doubt he shows much arrogance anytime soon so I may start liking him as a person and not just as an athlete. If he can pull his shit together and walk the talk. Only time will tell. I hope he does and sets the record too. Records are made to be broken but I would want Jacks records to go down to greatness and Tiger can only have greatness if he actually gets back on track and lives a truly good clean life. Just my opinion.

I didn't root for or against Tiger before his personal discretions came to light, I won't pull one way or the other for him in the aftermath of them either.

I absolutely want him to win. I was always whatever with Tiger for the last few years, I really enjoyed watching him when you know he was on and knew I was witnessing someone that we might not ever see again. But at the same time that didn't make me like Tiger any more as a person, obviously everything was very contrived, pre-meditated and such but I couldn't really blame the guy. To me all the joy I got out of Tiger was from watching him play golf and that hasn't changed. In addition to this, lord knows I love a good "fuck you" redemption. For example, I absolutely hate A-Rod and the Yankees. However last year when he comes back and homers in his first at-bat and then starts plowing through the teams in the playoffs, I'd be lying if there wasn't part of me saying "Damn, A-Rod's in that Fuck You Mode." It's just a cool thing to watch and I think it would be that way if Tiger were to get it done this weekend.

I have the exact same opinion as burt07, even down to A-Rod last year. Nothing better than watching pure greatness.

I want him to get to 19 majors ASAP so we can see what excuses those living in denial will come up with.

Watson is 2 under after four. It'd be awesome if it could somehow be Watson vs Woods in the final pairing.

Let's go Tiger!! He needs to shoot at least 69 to keep pace with the field! After two unfortunate bogeys and two really easy birdie/eagle misses on the back nine, Tiger is still 2 under.
He's gonna have 7 iron into the par 5 15th. If he can at worst birdie then he still has 16 to birdie. I'm hoping for 4 under but 3 under will be an unreal solid first round back!
