Hammy & Hegan are already breaking out the excuses for Jake....humidity in Chicago vs. Arizona is affecting grip, thus the wildness (which is backwards...shouldn't humidty increase grip?)....and saying this is his first "real" game in a long time (that's probably true).
Gonna be a long season.
Westbrook entered the tribe record books for wild pitches...he also plunked 2 hitters.
I can understand Hammy making excuses like this...but not Hegan, who is a former player and knows the intricacies of the game.
