What would you like to see the rest of the season?

Windy:
LeBron said he would like to get some rest over last five games. Look for it this week w/Shaq maybe back in final week.
I'm guessing Boobie, Green, Hot Wad, etc will see a bit more action this week. Is Telfair healthy or does he still have a messed up groin? It'd be nice to see what he could do here.

Then, if Shaq does return for the final week of the regular season, Mike Brown will probably go into his playoff rotation or at least something very close to it..

Also, who do you guys think will be left off the active playoff rosters? Somebody good is going to be riding pine for an entire series.. Crazy.

Just play Lebron and the rotation for the 1st 3 quarters and give them the 4th completely off. Then the last game, play the bench and rest all the starters.

Let Lebron shoot the ball on each possession so he can lock up the scoring title and put all of our threads to rest.

People that debate about Kobe and Lebron care about the scoring title.

Glad to see them wrap up the #1 seed throughout the playoffs. Now, it's one step at a time, with each series building in importance. Would love to have a healthy Shaq, but will he be???

Rest Leboob as much as possible.

Rest a bit, but for fantasy reasons, I hope lbj still gets some good minutes.

Ideally, forfeit and don't play them so there is no risk. lol

But really, rest. No doubt about it.

What I'd like to see would be the forfeit as well.

But if they decide to rest.

I'd like them to give all the starters maybe the next 3 games completely off.

And then go kinda like the NFL does with pre season games for the last two.

Starters play basically the 1st half, then sit.

Then the last game, have them maybe got 3 quarters to make sure they don't lose the timing.

They play 7 game series, unlike the NFL--they can get back in the swing of things in the 1st round.

Either way, I doubt if any of them are in street clothes until the last game or two.

Good point. I hope to See Shaq a little this week though.

Me too, but that's a bit different than the rest of the guys who haven't been out for an extended period.

Agreed.

It's nice to let the guys get a little rest at the end.

The guys that need some long rest are James, Parker, and Jamison.

Mo and West both missed some time and West really hasn't played major minutes this season. They could probably play until the last game and take some rest then.

JJ needs to be playing constantly as he'll likely be the guy getting his minutes bumped down. Even though he has played well, he is still young and needs in game reps.

Z, Shaq, and AV all need to get some minutes under themselves before resting during the ATL game. Z is still getting back into groove and Shaq/AV have been out recently.

Guys like Gibson, Moon, Jawad, and Green will get a lot of PT coming up.

Well, we all remember last year in game #82, Booby Gibson went off and scored 28 points with Mo, Z, and LBJ in street clothes in a 111-110 loss to the Sixers.

Boobie, the same guy that scored 31 against the Pistons, that helped clinch the Eastern Conference title (only time in history) for the Cavs.

Personlly, i am going to enjoy Boobie doing the damn thing. He will proabably have 2 or 3 steals a game as well. And then, just like after his 7-0 record as a starter when Gotti and West were hurt, Gibson will be sent back to the bench for the playoffs.

He has done what the coaching staff has asked for him, come in when called upon and produce.

He'll be called upon a game or two in the playoffs, but in the end Cleveland has clinched the #1 spot without having Gibson in the rotation for the majority of the season.

I think the NBA should look into them throwing games haha like when the NFL made a fuss last year at the end of the season for the colts.

And your boy Parker continues to struggle. I'm one of the few Brownie backers on the chatter here. But if Gibson rots away on the bench, and this team gets upset again by the Magic, I will be calling for his head.

Last year's team was blowing people out in late March and in April. This team hasn't.

Parker has not struggled. Parker has done exactly what he's supposed to do all season long. He's played great.

No he hasn't played great. He played well until about 4 weeks ago. Since then, he has struggled.

Secondly, whereby Parker gives it all on the defensive end, he is NOT the defender that people slobber over. He makes plenty of mistakes there.

Case in point. Parker leaves a red hot Ray Allen to help under the hoop weak side. There was already help there. So what happens? A kick out and a dagger 3 from Allen...putting Celts up 4 with 43 seconds to go. That was a terrible decision by Parker in that situation.

This team has too many go to guy when somebody is struggling as badly as Parker is struggling.

If you think Parker has struggled you don't understand what the expectations were for him in the first place. He's done a great job all season.
