Hopefully no major damage and no injuries. I was living in the Bay Area when the '89 quake hit, and have never seen anything like it since. The ground looked like the ocean, like little ripple waves and it lasted 15 seconds...quite a crazy feeling. I was in my bedroom on the 2nd story of our house and looking out the window was just freaky....something I'll never forget. I wouldn't say scary, more like kinda cool that the earth could do that.

I thought this too...but they were discussing it on TWC and they said there hasn't been anymore activity this year than in the past years. They then proceeded to go through 30 minutes of graphs and charts like always.

I'll be accepting do donations via Papal to assist victims who can find California on a map. We hope to match donations sent by the country of Haiti.

Our relief effort will focus on providing fresh drinkable Budweiser to people like myself to deal with this disaster during Monday night's NCAA final game.

Please be generous.

One of my friends in LA called me about this yesterday. At any rate, when I was out there for 8 weeks recently, there was a 4.4 in mid-March centered just east of Downtown LA about 4am. Not a pleasant way to wake up.
