This is one of the great things about the NCAA tournament and the Final Four/title game in particular....a guy unexpectedly stepping up and having the game of his life.

Butler's missed a bunch of layups that they normally make and they're only down one. They have to keep after it on the boards and Mack has to attack whenever one of the white boys switches on him. Scheyer and Singler have no chance of staying in front of Mack. If Howard settles down and they do the rest, Butler has a chance.

I think that they could play better. They've played well but it's not like they were unconscious in the 1st half. Maybe Jukes was. LOL

Butler has missed a bunch of bunnies, missed open shots, gave up wide open shots to Duke. That is NOT playing the game of their lives.

Great first half. Butler is showing they belong and Scheyer and Singler are hitting big shots. Can't ask for a better game so far.

Duke has not been getting offensive boards from Zoubek for the kickout, wide open 3's. Nobody should be surpised by this score.

It's been an even game actually.
Both teams are excellent defensively but that hasn't prevented either team from running their sets and finding the open shot.
Just a matter of make or miss at this point, IMO.

I still think Butler will snip down the nets. The usual Duke ref advantage hasn't reared it's ugly head...at least not yet.

Not sure about that, but he does come across as that obnoxious fan who doesn't even know what the fuck is going on out there. He thought Butler got two possession arrows in a row.
