So I got a 24 hour ban from another forum I frequent today. They were talking about different types of racing around the world and the topic got onto camel racing. I said something about the camel jockeys being larger than horse jockeys. A day later I try to log into the website and it says I have been banned for a racial slur, so I email an admin. I get a response back saying that "we have many black people who post on this website and we take racial slurs seriously"

So yeah, let's not be like them.

I would think that we give better explanations than that when we ban people right? I mean, I am sure the black people on that forum were upset that I called the jockey's who race camels "camel jockeys" lol

For the OP, since I did do my share of unapproving regarding Sleeper in recent times (twice)...while I may have stepped over the rules, at least my intent was good (ie: the whole "fellowship" thing, as he was essentially trying to provoke bullshit fighting on a prayer thread and then used a kid dying as an excuse to take a jab at Notre Dame).

And, in my defense, I didn't completely "ninja" these moves. With the prayer thread, after I unapproved his posts and the ones fighting with him, I PM'd Justin to let him know, so he could reverse what I did if he felt I was being a real JJ about things. And also made a post saying that on that thread. With the St. X kid dying thread, after unapproving his post, I made a thread here about that. In that case, I just wanted to avoid the shitstorm of "FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!" comments that would pop up after drunks like me went to bed and normal people started waking up...but wanted all you guys to know what I did, so it could be reversed if desired.
