Simple question, in which role do you prefer Jerry Stiller, Arthur Spooner, the father in law of Doug Heffernan on 'The King of Queens', or, Frank Castanza, the father of George Castanza on Seinfeld?

Spooner...he was more funny in that role.

Sometimes on Seinfeld he wasn't funny...just annoying.

Great poll, and since he's hilarious in both roles, I'm going with the age old line of thinking....

Which show would suffer more if he WASN'T on it?

I think, with that, I've got to take Spooner by a landslide.

Both characters are very funny but like Upper90 said King of Queens would have suffered more without Arthur Spooner.

I personally think Spooner is WAY funnier, but I did like the one Seinfeld when Steinbrenner was at the Costanza's to tell them (they thought) George was dead, and all his dad had to say was "WHY DID YOU TRADE JAY BUHNER?"
