I went to play the Show last night too, the update took 7 minutes but I didn't feel like waiting for that lol.. I just ended up playing MAG all damn night.
But the reason your system update took so long was because they actually removed a feature with the latest update. It was my longest update since I'v had the PS3, but it only took me 8 minutes
