I wanted to take Melo tonight but couldn't pull the trigger. Had no idea Amare averaged 23 a game, thought he was more in the range of 18-20.

Anyone else feel that the current leader at w23 is ESPN ran?

If you click the profile it says no longer available.

looks like Anthony is gonna win 35-34. I'm amazed at how close some of these are, especially the over/under when they are an option. College basketball games would always be within 3 or 4 points of number that was set.

They do get pretty close with most games and real tricky with other games.

You'll have a 41-39 team play at a 50-30 team and people will pick the hell out of that 50-30 team thinking it is a lock then ya find out later that so and so was sitting out a game or gonna be rested after halftime.

Anyway, your team gets their asses handed to them and your streak is over while ESPN employees giggle like Peter Griffin.

My streak is now up to 4.

What normally screws me up is Soccer or Cricket.

At a w2 right now, and picked Arsenal for the afternoon. Not completely confident in picking between Phoenix and Detroit, but I may pull the trigger on it later.

I am now up to 5, which is my longest streak.

My next pick is Arsenal at 3pm.

I picked the winning cricket team today as well and at w4.

I was gonna pick Arsenal but didn't wake up in time and they're currently down 2-0.

I steer clear of soccer, cricket, and hockey unless my streak is 1-2 or I only have 2 weeks to catch the leader at 23.

I had a dream this morning that I was at w12 and the leader only had w17 but I was really at w3 and they were at w23. :D

I looked it up after posting that and was expecting it to be badminton which I had forgot the name of but remembered from the 80's. :D

So cricket is to baseball what rugby is to football?

Sort of.

Arsenal is going to fuck me out of a 5 pick streak. I will never pick soccer matches again.

You and me both Keebler.

This is the 2nd time I have had a 5 pick streak ended because of a soccer match.

Yeah, Arsenal is a pos!

Twice I was gonna pick them and they lost both times.

I thought I actually picked them and lost but that happened last month if so.

I only pick soccer or cricket if I have a streak at 1 and its early in the morning/day and I'm trying to get a streak going. Doesn't really hurt either way.

I clicked on the "in progress" of the cricket match earlier today and had absolutely zero clue what the box score/play by play was telling me. I couldn't have picked the score out if I was paid $1000 to do so.

Arsenal boned me out of my w4 streak today. So it's back to square one. I'm pretty screwed for this month...so I'm hoping that next month works out better for me.

I just started playing this month and currently have a w7 with 10-1 for the month. I seem to have a knack for getting the soccer and cricket right so far, my one loss was in MLB.

Why would you guys have picked Arsenal? Actually, why would you have picked on that game?
