He probably got the 'Papal' vote from the Vatican.

Which, coincidentally, was marked by blue and gold smoke rising from the chimney.

Good for ET- 1st Buckeye POY since Gary Bradds in 1964, before that Jerry Lucas in '61 and '62.

I thought Jimmy Jackson won one of the POY awards (not the AP) the year Laettner won it.

Thats pretty good that you can miss 5 weeks in the middle of the season and still win POY

What a joke

I'm not a bit jealous of Evan Turner.....

I know he's going to be a bust in the NBA and will be back in Coulmbus selling cars in three years

Over/under on how many basketball games Gibby watched this year... 0.5

I am taking the under on that one. At least I hope it is less than 1. Any basketball watcher with a brain could have told you that Turner was far and away the best player in the NCAA this year.

I don't have Buckeye Blinders (Tar Heels fan) but Turner deserved this award just as much as John Wall or any other player with a vote. His stats were amazing.

I think John Wall has TONS of potential but I honestly don't think he has lived up to the hype yet.

No offense but he wasn't near averaging a triple double every game. He needed 4 more assists a game and in a 30 game season, that's 120 assist. He wasn't close...

Apparently not. He wasn't voted best player by buckeye fans.

Your hate for OSU is horribly obvious.
