Cavs host the Hawks at the Q.
Hawks come in following a pounding of the Lakers at home by 17, the Cavs enter following a close win over the surging Bucks.

Gametime decision. He is ready to go but hasn't been cleared by doctors yet.just_a_swimmer wrote: Andy playing?

This is a big game for both teams. I expect a playoff atmosphere. Let's see if the Cavs can step their game up from the last week or so.
Cavs 101
Hawks 93
FT's at the end make the Final score worse than it really was.

Wouldn't mind seeing a little 4th quarter lockdown that has been missing of late, hell i wouldn't mind seeing the Cavs pull ahead by 15 either. Not played real well lately, even without a couple starters.

I look for the Cavs to win comfortably since Fab4 and wildcats will be there.

Cleveland is playing okay, their just winning games only losing 2 this month with multiple starters out at various points including LeBron, Jamison, AV, Shaq, West etc.

OK is a fair assesment. I feel like it's about time to get the play-off game faces on and start drubbing some asses. I hate coasting into the post season. There are some quality opponents that the Cavs may meet later on that need reminded they're on a mission, not leaving them with the thought they can hang.

As long as their winning games, especially against the Top 3 EC teams, they'll be rolling with confidence going into the playoffs.
I highly doubt they will beat down these teams, maybe by 10 or so, but nothing huge. Its crunch time for teams like ATL and BOS who do not want to play Milwaukee first.

I don't care so much about "beatdowns" as much as I care about there being no question with under three/four minutes to play.

But I really think they need those situations at the end of the year. Especially for guys like Jamison and JJ who really haven't been in those situations with Cleveland.ytownfootball wrote: I don't care so much about "beatdowns" as much as I care about there being no question with under three/four minutes to play.
Jamison being new and JJ finally having to play late due to AV and Shaq being out.

Being underhanded and still coming out on top I see your point. Two ways to look at it...who you're playing feels they can hang/younger guys get the feel for play-off BB. Don't know which I prefer.

I'd definitely rather get the W and give JJ the opportunity to play in playoff like games.

Gibson needs to take some of Parker's minutes. He is not helping at all offensively over the past 3 weeks.

I agree, especially against a team like Atlanta who likes to push tempo. We're bigger than Atlanta regardless, so playing Boobie against them shouldn't matter in terms of defensive match ups..Footwedge wrote: Gibson needs to take some of Parker's minutes. Though, Boobie has held his own defensively this season.

Great game and impressive 2nd quarter for the Cavs.
Loved the defense and again, Mo Williams is killing people off the dribble. Love this aggressive side of Mo, it makes us so much better.

Our offense was so so that half. But we are up 3 with bron not doing too much.
I agree that the aggressive mo is great for this team. Make them respect that drive and it'll open things up even more.

LeBron not doing much, yet he nearly had a triple double in the 1st halfMidstate01 wrote: Our offense was so so that half. But we are up 3 with bron not doing too much.

Who knew!? God he sucks. Soo let me rephrase it. Lebron not scoring much. Cavs still up 3 at half.LTrain23 wrote:LeBron not doing much, yet he nearly had a triple double in the 1st halfMidstate01 wrote: Our offense was so so that half. But we are up 3 with bron not doing too much.

So the Cavs start settling for jumpers and the lead falls to 4.
Keep attacking!
